| Best Foundations For Masks | Nars Soft Matte |
Some of us still wear makeup almost daily, either for work or because we love it. I love being made up, it's part for my self care. I love spending that time in the morning applying my makeup being & talking with myself.
It's been a struggle wearing a mask whilst having makeup on. Especially if you live in NYC where you have to wear your mask all the time unless inside your home. If you live outside the city where you drive, you have a little bit more freedom. Every time I'd take my mask off, half of my makeup would come off with it and the mask lines remains. Not until I met this foundation and silk mask.
Well Nars came out with their latest foundation called Soft matte and there's nothing soft about it when comes to staying put on your face even whilst wearing a mask for a long period of time. This foundation is literally the best thing I discovered in 2020. I featured it in my Top beauty products for 2020 video.

It has become my favorite foundation and my Chanel takes number 2 now. The foundation really showed me who's boss in Miami last week, it was hot, I was on a boat for 6 hours and it did not move.
I am going as far to say it's the best foundation I've ever used. Not only it gives me a flawless coverage, it stays on all day and very minimal transfer under masks.
Silk masks
Another tip if you want minimal transfer under your masks is to wear silk masks. We all know how silk is fantastic for our skin, it's also great for wearing over makeup because it does not pick up a lot of makeup. Since I've been using my slip silk masks I have not been wearing anything else. It's so easy to wash by hand every night.
