Staud Elio off-the-shoulder cotton-blend maxi dress |
Staud has been one of my favorite brands since I've discovered them 2 years ago. At first it was the bags. I fell deeply in love with the Moreau bag which I ended up purchashing a year too late. It's safe to say that 70% of my bag collection is from Staud because they make the coolest bag or used to.
I never paid much attention to their clohting as I used to think it was for tall skinny cool girls which I am not. But, last fall I went to one of their sample sales in Soho and bought the martin skirt and since I've been paying more attention to their clothing.
When pandemic hit, I bought the Elio dress in the yellow color which I was so sure would not look good on me but to my surprise looked great on. I was hooked and ordered 4 more in different colors which included this hibicus multi color. I really was hoping they'd make it in the bubble gum pink but this one will do. I cannot stop buying their dresses, so much so I filmed a collection showcasing all my staud pieces. Watch it below.
This is the most color my wardrobe has seen in ages. I go through phases with my style and over the last few years, I was keen on my neutrals which I loved at that time.
At the beggining of this year, I realized I was aging myself with the type of pieces I was wearing. My style was quite structured and boring if I do say so myself. This year since I've been embracing my femininity, dresses and color have made an appearance and I am having so much fun dressing up this summer.
Thank you for reading,
