If you ladies have been watching my youtube videos for the past year which you should be. You'd know how much I talk about staying away from black. Black is chic don't get wrong, but it's so boring especially if you're a New Yorker since everyone is always decked out in black even in the middle of summer. Also black can make you look too serious. As someone who want to inject more fun and femininity to her wardrobe, it's best to stay away from wearing black too often.

But, during a late nigh shopping session on H&M.com I stumbled upon this black dress and I became so interested in this dress. The shape did for me and also since 98% of my summer wardrobe is mostly white or lighter colors when it's that time of the month I struggle to find something nice to wear. I thought for the price, it's worth getting this dress in black so I have something to wear when mother nature is around. What I wasn't expecting was falling back in love with wearing black. I wore this dress everyday for a week and just ordered myself a back up since I now have to wash this one. I do find this silhouette to be so feminine and I am obsessed.

My beautiful jewelry pieces are from Susanshaw. They are classic style handmade jewelry from Texas. At first I thought I like dainty pieces but as soon as I put this necklace on I was in love. I did not know how much I need a little Baroque drama in my life.
