Dadou~Chic: White After Labor Day

My favorite colors are white and camel. I remember when I first
moved here from the Caribbean where it's summer all year long and wearing white is never a fashion faux pas after a certain time of year, I was shocked when my mother told me I couldn't wear white after Labor Day. I started thinking what type of fashionable people make such silly rules and who cares if it's winter, white is a classic and should be worn all year. I am happy to say that I never really followed that advice & wore it all year long.

Whilst it's still summer, I am taking advantage and wear all my white dresses. This one is my latest favorite from Jcrew and I love it. It's Fantastic for looking pulled together in the hot summer& can be worn spring, and through fall with sandals or light colored or open toed booties. This Jcrew classic is a weekend or vacation white dress and would not recommend wearing it to work unless you work somewhere uber casual. Although I prefer over the knee length dresses, it's still nice to have a few dresses on the shorter side.
