Dadou~Chic: What to Wear: Wine Tasting in the Hamptons

Summer in NYC is not complete without a trip to the Hamptons. One of the best things to do in the Hamptons is wine tasting at Wölffer
Estate vineyard.
When in wine country, comfort is everything. But just because you're comfortable doesn't mean you can't be chic at the same time. I like to usually wear a dress, but you can wear some linen shorts and a nice top or blouse. I'd say stick to light colors like pastel and dainty florals. For shoes, comfort is essential, wear flat sandals or espadrilles. Don't forget a good straw hat or fedora whichever goes with your outfit.
For bags, I'd say basket or cute leather bags. Staud makes some great ones that are stylish for both summer dresses and going out.

Don't wear heels too high or you'll look out of place or trying to hard. Some people can pull off denim shorts and I am not one them. I'd say stay away from them in general if you want to look classy. You can probably get away with a white pair denim shorts. If you must wear shorts, stick to fabrics like linen or other materials as mentioned above.
