Rooftop Season aka Summer in NYC. It would not be an NYC summer without a visit to a rooftop bar. This summer I've been to too many rooftops to count. A lot of you guys probably don't know that I
didn't drink alcohol for nearly 10 years. I can count on one hand the rare occasions I've been hung over. I've always hated the feeling of being hung over so much so that I just did not drink altogether. When I say drinking, I mean one or two drinks. Also, I've always wanted to be 100 myself at all times and used to believe that even one drop of alcohol could enhance my emotions which it could.
But now I am older and wiser, I am back and I must say I enjoy a really good cocktail or two. I love wine only when I travel but otherwise it makes me a little sleepy/lazy. Cocktails don't really do that to me which I love. Once I have a few glasses of water, I'm back to normal.
These pictures were taken at the Lelie rooftop at the Gansevoort hotel. The drinks are amazing but the rooftop is fairly basic.I think I ordered a a cosmo here or whatever drink had a rose in the name since I could not find the menu. Who to best drink with, friends of course. Here with my girl Monroe from Fashion Steele.
