No frills, just chill, That's the best description I can think of La Eufemia. So chill, that someone tried to sell us some weed as soon as
we sat down.
I think I must have been Mexican in a past life, I love Mexican food too much, like loads(I don't think I'm exaggerating, follow me on Instagram to see my tacoploration in NYC)). From the time I booked my flight to Tulum, the only thing I could think about was tacos, tacos, more tacos. I searched the web for where to eat in Tulum. Taqueria La Eufemia kept coming up for tacos on the beach. We headed there on my last night in Tulum and I was not disappointed. The ambiance was young and fun. Sit out on the beach, loud music, cool servers and the cheapest food you'll find on the beach in my opinion.
Ceviche taqueria La Eufemia: Tulum |
Although the tacos were not the best I've had, overall they were the best I had in Tulum. I had really high expectation for tacos in Tulum and I was somewhat disappointed. Everything was so fresh but lacking that zest/sauce you find in good tacos. The shrimp tacos from la eufemia were my favorite.
If you are tired of overpriced restaurants and fancy bars in Tulum, then go and visit La Eufemia. We had some delicious fish and shrimp tacos & great mezcal margarita.
Thank you for reading,
