Our 1st 3 days, we stayed at Calle 16 in Tulum. I am happy Monroe didn't stay at resort as I hate resort vacations, might as well stay
home. Of course leave it to Monroe to always book the perfect/Instagramable places. Here's a link to her travel guide which will be noted in all my Mexico post. Calle 16 is a minimalist dreams. It's in the heart of downtown and a little away from the beach about a 15-20 minutes drive.
The hotel owners, Alex and Laura, were personal and very accommodating. They were always available to answer any of our questions. Alex recommended some amazing places to eat such a Del Cielo which was so good,look out for that post.
The house was very well organized and clean. It does feel very homey which I loved.
As you can see the aesthetic is just a dream. I loved this place so much, I didn't want to leave. The 2nd place we stayed is just as beautiful. Stay tune.
