Paris Diary "what I did, Where I ate...

Here's my last Paris post. It's a diary of what I did , where I ate

and where I stayed. Hope you enjoy.

Beautiful apartments in Monmartre near our Airbnb.

We ate at the Brasserie de la Tour Eiffel near the Eiffel Tower. The food was pretty good. We had escargot, Amanda had a burger and I cannot remember what I ordered. I am convinced that you cannot find bad food in Paris.

Creprerie
We went to this place every night we stayed in Monmartre. Their crepes are just delicious and the owner is friendly. It's really hard to take a good picture of a crepe. They are no very photogenic but one thing they sure are delicious.

La masion Rose
I saw this place on Instagram and knew I had to go there.Well the house is named after me after all. We had no intention of eating there, we just went to take some shots but decided to stay for brunch. My birthday Brunch to be exact. This definitely the best french food I've had. Al tough my plate doesnt even look much, but trust me it was the most delicious thing I've ever eating. Amanda had the meatballs and omg, I had to break my no meat diet to try them and I must say it was worth it. Next time I'm in Paris, I 'm ordering those meatballs.

Le Colibri
I know they are tons of bad reviews about this place but I loved it. I ate there about 6 times during the 6 days I spent in Paris. It was close to our hotel at la Place de la Madeleine and they had the best hot chocolate I've had. They do have this delicious truffle pizza which I've had at least 3 times. Their breakfast was also pretty good. The vibe is not as friendly as other places, I still recommend it.

Sale & Pepe in Monmarte.
We settled for this place after walking past various restaurants and nothing really caught our eyes. we kept walking and then a lovely young man from the neighborhood shouted to us to go Sale e Pepe & that it was the best Italian restaurant in Montmartre. For someone who's been to Italy searching for the perfect pizza. I've been to those pizza places that claim to be the best by several official guides, I must say Sale & pepe is that place. I highly recommend Sale & pepe whether or not you're staying in the area. It's worth it. I'm just going to say it, probably the best Italian restaurant in Paris as regards to price/quality. I've been scared to eat pizza home in NYC since I've been back.

A must in Paris. Very good service and ambiance. Very relaxed atmosphere...friendly, attentive staff

Sacré-Cœur, Paris
Since we were staying in Monmartre, we decided to go visit the Sacre coeur. I've always had great appreciation for Catholic churches from an artistic standpoint. I consider them art, so grandiose so intricate. For someone who loves art and architecture, Paris sounds like the perfect place for me to live. Sacre-couer was so beautiful, we paid our 6euros to the dome , we climbed 300 steps and there you get the best view of Paris.

Hôtel de Castiglione
On our 3rd day, we moved to the 8th arrondissement and stayed at the cutest hotel. The 8th arrondissemnt is very bougie like myself. Lots of luxury shopping.
Tips: always ask for a room on the top floor facing the street.Always get the best views. We had a balcony and view of the Eiffel Tower.

Thank you for reading,
