We spent our last day or half a day in downtown Sarasota. I loved it there with the shops and restaurants. Whilst shooting this look, the boyfriend pointed out the restaurant (Boca, lemon st) across the street for lunch. We loved it there. I had the swordfish and he had the Omg burger. We also tried the PEI mussels which were so delicious, and their mojito is amazing. I love that they use all local fresh/organic ingredients. Their motto is farm to fork, garden to table. Hope I remembered that correctly. I love when restaurants use a farm to table concept. I was raised in somewhat of a farm in the Caribbean, where my uncles grew pretty much everything we ate; Vegetables, fruits and some of my aunts were even butchers. My cousins, Pierre mostly, loved to catch octopus, and cooked them for the family. My brother loved crab fishing. I loved catching shrimps. That's why I love finding restaurants here where they use all local, fresh, organic ingredients.
Kept my outfit simple here.You can't really do much in hot climate. I had to remove my scarf as soon as I sat down at the restaurant it was so hot.
